North East & Cumbria, Primary Care Collaborative Conference
The PCC Conference brought together representatives from all four pillars of primary care organised by Fiona Adamson NENC Primary Care Collaborative’s Co-Chair and attended by Dr Aamir Munir the Clinical Director for Transformation within Northumbria Primary Care. The event was also attended by Dr Claire Fuller who has recently been appointed as the Co-Medical Director of Primary Care for the NHS Transformation Executive Team. They were also joined by Ruth Rankine Director of Primary Care, for the NHS Confederation and Levi Buckley is the Chief Delivery Officer at North East and North Cumbria ICB. Dr Claire Fuller was the events’ main speaker and along with the above formed a panel for Q&As from the room.
As the NHS is currently in a transitional phase this did not deter or dampen the passion and commitment in the room. Attending the event ensured that the voice of Community Pharmacy is kept at the forefront in whatever lies ahead in the coming months and years. We are committed to continuing to strengthen these partnerships by playing an active role in the Primary Care Collaborative.
